Potential Canada Post Strike Looming
As you may be aware, there is a real possibility of a national postal strike starting July 2, 2016. Rhodes & Williams is currently examining alternate delivery arrangements in the event of a service disruption. When possible, we will deliver urgent documents by fax or email, or hold them until the strike is over.
Clients may make arrangements to come into our office to collect any insurance documents that may be time sensitive.
It is important to note that payments must still be made to ensure that your account is maintained in good standing. Clients who are on automatic monthly withdrawals with their respective insurance company will not be impacted by the strike.
For clients that make payments to Rhodes & Williams, we’d like to remind you of the safe and effective billing options available to ensure minimal disruption to your insurance services. Payments can be made as follows:
- Visit our office
- Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
- Online banking (except for clients that deal with Caisse, Credit Unions or some smaller banks)
We encourage you to set up electronic funds Transfer (also known as e-mail transfers or e-Transfers)or online banking – they are efficient, secure, convenient and are cost effective ways of payment.
