Rhodes & Williams Ltd. has been chosen as a winner of the Employees' Choice Award (formerly known as the Employer of Distinction Award) for 2008. This award, which was announced in September 2008, honours ten organizations within Canada's National Capital Region that recognize employees as their greatest asset. Employees take a survey and the scores and comments are reviewed by a panel of judges. The selection, recognition and awarding of the Employees' Choice Awards allow organizations to demonstrate why they are an ideal place for employees to work. Sponsored by the Ottawa Business Journal and Talentmap, the award addressed a number of areas including the employees' engagement, feelings on senior leadership and immediate management and also personal growth. Ninety-four percent of our employees say that they are proud to tell others about their work. Further, we are thrilled to announce the addition of Allison Durham to our Rhodes family effective June 8th, 2009. Allison's tenure in the insurance industry spans eight years. She will work as a Commercial Lines Portfolio Manager at Rhodes & Williams Ltd.
